The implementation of a standard software application offers your organisation security and clarity. The Mexon Technology Implementation Method tells you in advance exactly what steps will be taken, what is expected of you, and what impact you should bear in mind.
An implementation is equal to implementing a change process within your organisation. In order to effect this change as quietly as possible without losing sight of the objectives, good direction and effective execution of activities is necessary.
Our Professional Services department offers you experienced staff and adequate tools to support you in the implementation of our solutions. A 'Plan of Approach' drawn up in advance confirms our commitment to help you with projects and provides the outlines of how we will work. Business consultancy and project planning workshops will be necessary in order to lay down in detail the aim, preconditions, scope, personal input and lead time of the project.
Business Consultancy sessions
The requirements of the organisation will be established during the Business Consultancy sessions; project aims, project scope and preconditions will be laid down in an agreement during the Project Definition session.
Project planning
From the different sections of the Mexon Technology Professional Services Organisation (Business Consultancy, Development Consultancy and Project Management) the Mexon Technology Implementation team is put together. This team supports you in the implementation of your Mexon Technology application.
The aim is to implement, together with you, a Mexon Technology quality solution that delivers for you the required benefits for your management within the budget, lead time and project boundaries set by you.
Implementation method
For the introduction of our solution(s) into your organisation Mexon Technology works with an implementation method that integrates all processes (defining the requirements, project management and system development), so as to produce an implementation that makes use of the industry standard, DSDM and PRINCE2, including optimum adaptation of the solution to the customer's environment.
The Mexon Technology project manager sees to it that the implementation method is used during the entire life of the project, to ensure that the right products are delivered at the right time and that they meet the specifications laid down in advance. The method consists of five main elements:
