Cookie statement Mexon Technology

What is a cookie?

Mexon Technology uses cookies when offering services. A cookie is a simple small file that is sent along with pages from this website and is stored by your browser on your computer’s hard drive. The information stored therein can be sent back to our servers on a subsequent visit. There are functional and non-functional cookies.

Why do we use cookies?

Functional cookies ensure that certain parts of the website work properly. Think of being logged in or cookies that make it possible to respond. In addition, your user preferences remain known. Non-functional cookies such as statistical cookies measure whether a website functions properly.

Which cookies do we use?

Functional cookies

There are two types of functional cookies: permanent and session cookies.

  • With the help of a permanent cookie we can recognize you when you visit our website again. The website can therefore be specially adjusted to your preferences. Even when you have given permission to place cookies, we can remember this by means of a cookie. Because of this you do not have to repeat your preferences so you save time and can use our websites in a more pleasant way. You can delete permanent cookies via your browser settings.
  • With the help of a session cookie we can see which parts of the website you have viewed during this visit. We can therefore adjust our service as much as possible to the surfing behavior of our visitors. These cookies are automatically deleted as soon as you close your web browser.

Statistical cookies

A cookie from the American company Google is placed via our website as part of the “Analytics” service. We use this service to keep track of and get reports on how visitors use the website. Google may provide this information to third parties if Google is legally required to do so, or insofar as third parties process the information on Google’s behalf. We have no influence on this. We have not allowed Google to use the analytics information obtained to improve other Google services and services. The analytics information obtained is only used within other Google services for analysis purposes. Your IP address is explicitly not given. Read the privacy policy of Google for more information.

The information is transferred to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google adheres to the Privacy Shield principles and is affiliated with the Privacy Shield program of the US Department of Commerce. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Social cookies

Buttons are included on our website to promote (“like”) or share (“tweet”) web pages on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn. These buttons work with pieces of code that come from Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn itself. Cookies are placed through this code. We have no influence on that. Do you read the privacy statement from Facebook, Twitter or from LinkedIn (which can change regularly) to read what they do with your (personal) data that they process via these cookies.

The information they collect is made anonymous as much as possible. The information is transferred to and stored by Twitter, Facebook, Google + and LinkedIn on servers in the United States. LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook and Google+ + adhere to the Privacy Shield principles and are affiliated with the Privacy Shield program of the US Department of Commerce. This means that there is an appropriate level of protection for the processing of any personal data.

Embedded content

In some places content can be used that is hosted on other sites. YouTube videos are a concrete example of this. These codes often use cookies in a similar way to the social buttons. You can find out what the relevant parties do with the cookies and personal data in the privacy policy of the relevant service. We have no control over this.

Change cookie settings or delete cookies

Because Mexon Technology only uses functional and statistical cookies, we have made no provision for changing cookie settings. You can always remove cookies from your computer, tablet or mobile phone yourself. Consult the explanation of the settings of your browser.
